About Me

Taylor Adams - SMC Certified Full Spectrum Doula

  • As a doula, I firmly believe that my clients already possess the strength and power within themselves to give birth. My role is to provide the education, tools, and support needed to help you make empowered choices and promote a positive birth experience.

    It is my goal to create a welcoming and safe space for you to ask questions, understand your options, and feel heard throughout your journey. Every person and every birth is different, and I am here to provide the emotional and physical support you need in whatever way is best suited to you.

    Whether that means helping you navigate choices with your care team, offering tools to promote comfort and coping during labor, or simply providing a hand to hold, it is an honor to be a part of your journey.

  • My path to doula work grew out of my time as a teacher in infant and toddler care, a decade of experience in public health and policy, and a deep passion for maternal health equity.

    While working with new and expecting parents, I saw firsthand the importance of community, emotional support, and education as families navigated pregnancy and the transition to parenthood. Through my career, I also had the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the many factors that influence maternal health outcomes and to learn about the powerful role doulas can play in improving birth experiences and outcomes.

    With this knowledge and a desire to return to supporting individuals and families firsthand, I embarked on the journey of becoming a doula and committed myself to providing the compassionate care and support that every person deserves.
