Birth Doula Services

Every family is unique, and support should be tailored to your individual needs, values, and goals. I serve families throughout Greater Boston and surrounding communities. I welcome you to schedule a consultation to discuss availability and whether your location falls within my service area.

Why Work With a Doula?

You may be wondering why you would choose doula support when you already have a personal support system. A doula is meant to enhance, not replace, your support people. While members of your care team may change throughout pregnancy, labor, and birth, your doula remains a consistent presence, taking the time to understand your needs, preferences, and goals while also serving as a resource for your partner.

Doula support often begins long before labor starts. It may look like talking through questions after a prenatal appointment, helping you find relief from common pregnancy discomforts, connecting you with resources, discussing your birth preferences, or simply being there when you need someone to listen.

As your due date approaches, support may include helping you understand the signs of labor, determine when it's time to check in with your provider, and feel more confident about what to expect.

During labor and birth, support may include encouragement, comfort measures, position changes, breathing techniques, partner support, and helping you navigate decisions as they arise. Pregnancy and birth often bring a wide range of emotions, questions, and challenges, and your doula is there to help you navigate them.

Every family's needs are different, but my goal is always the same: to help you feel informed, supported, and cared for throughout your birth journey.

Every birth journey deserves compassion and support.
